Hollyn went to the pool for the first time this weekend. She had to go to the gym daycare first since Mike and I wanted to work out, and that really upset her! So much so that her first experience in the pool was not as great as it could have been! Sunday we went back, and she went to daycare first again, but this time someone was there who could walk with her outside of the baby area. They told us that as soon as she crossed over into the baby area, she would protest very loudly! So the daycare supervisor just ended up with a sore arm from having to carry Hollyn around for an hour. Since that experience was a little bit better, she was ready to tackle the pool. This time was much more fun, she even blew bubbles (thanks to the Man with No Name teaching her to blow rasberries). She also said her first word while at the pool! She reached her arms out for Mike and said Dada! So we all had a great weekend, minus my bright red and painful shoulders!
