Happy Halloween!

Hollyn had a great Halloween! She was very reluctant to put on her costume, she was pretty scared of it at first, but she eventually came around (except for the head). She had lots of fun knocking on doors, saying trick or treat, or something like that, and waving good-bye. Overall, a great night!

The Grand Canyon Adventure

Here are some pictures from Mike's recent trip to the Grand Canyon. He and our friends Chad and Jeff did a crazy thing and hiked down to the Colorado River and back up in one day (almost 17 miles round trip with 4500 ft of elevation gain). Everyone they saw along the way was in disbelief, but they made it with all bones intact in just 8 hours. The slogan of the day was "#@#@@***##?*, who signed up for this?"

Hollyn is so cute when she tries to sit on the fireplace hearth. She starts backing towards it from about 3 feet away before she finally reaches it and sits down. I'm hoping this doesn't become a hazard once fire season comes along.
